Hand braided quality mule tape mecate reins for a hackamore! This a tri-color mecate with burgundy, black, and brown and the burgundy being the dominant color.

*****The Mecate is tied to the hackamore in a specialized manner. It adjusts the fit around the muzzle of the horse and creates both a looped rein and a long free end that can be used for a number of purposes such as a lead line.

BACKGROUND: We love and prefer to ride in the traditional vaquero hackamore and mecate reins. However, they are very expensive and wanted to make something comparable that we can use to train in without ruining our traditional mecate and now we share this with you! 😊
